About me

Hi, I’m Lauren, a 37-year-old mom to two amazing little girls, ages 3 and 1.5, who light up my world every day. I’m also a woman navigating the messy, emotional, and sometimes overwhelming journey of divorce after nearly four years of marriage. I always sensed it wasn’t the right fit, holding onto hope for the good man I saw inside my partner, but I’ve learned that sometimes love means letting go—for both our sakes.

As I work through this transition and prepare for life on the other side, I’m leaning on my financial know-how, honed over years of working in fintech, to guide me and my girls toward a secure future. I’m not a financial expert, but I’m savvy enough to know how to budget smartly, plan strategically, and make every dollar count—especially during life’s big changes.

This blog is my way of sharing what I’m learning: practical financial tips, hard-won lessons from divorce, and a bit of encouragement for women like me who are rebuilding their lives. Whether you’re figuring out how to manage household finances solo or just need some hope amidst the chaos, I’m here to help. Let’s navigate this journey together and turn challenges into opportunities for growth and independence.
